Ukrainian Fintech Awards 2023: Innovative Breakthroughs in Finance Sector

Kyiv, Ukraine – The annual Ukrainian Fintech Awards ceremony was held on March 15, 2023, to recognize and celebrate the achievements of the most innovative companies in the finance sector in Ukraine.

Organized by The Ukrainian Association of FinTech and Innovation Companies (UAFIC) and Visa as the general event partner, the marquee event brought together leading players in the industry, including fintech startups, investors, financial institutions, and regulators. The ceremony featured keynote speeches, panel discussions, and networking opportunities, culminating in the presentation of awards to the winners in various categories.

Wallet Factory, a leading provider of such digital payment solutions as eWallets and personalized customer rewards, has been shortlisted in the Fintech New Product of the Year category at the Ukrainian Fintech Awards 2023. The company was recognized for its innovative approach to developing new payment products and services that cater to the needs of its B2B clients like banks, large retailers, wallet operators, and telecoms, as well as of their end customers around the globe.

At the Ukrainian Fintech Awards 2023, Wallet Factory was represented by two of its delegates, Viktoriia Kruk, Lead UX/UI Designer, and Oleksandr Lihus, Financier. Both delegates actively participated in the panel discussions, presentations, and networking events, showcasing the company’s commitment to innovation and excellence in the finance sector. The winners of the 2023 Ukrainian Fintech Awards were selected by a panel of expert judges based on their business model, market potential, technological innovation, and impact on the industry. The categories included Best Fintech Startup, Best Fintech Product, Best Fintech Solution for SMEs, Best Fintech Innovation in Payments, and Best Fintech Collaboration. The winners of the awards were officially announced at the onsite ceremony on March 15, 2023.

The winners of the awards had the opportunity to showcase their products and services to potential investors, partners, and customers, as well as receive media exposure and recognition for their achievements. Numerous attendees were quite impressed by the amount of budding Fintech companies and promising startups appearing on the Ukrainian financial technology horizon. In addition to the awards ceremony, the Ukrainian Fintech Awards 2023 also featured a panel discussion on Women’s Leadership in the finance industry. The panel discussed the importance of gender diversity and inclusivity in the workplace, and the role of women in shaping the future of the finance sector in Ukraine. The panelists shared their experiences and insights on the challenges and opportunities for women in finance, as well as the best practices for promoting gender equality and empowering female leaders. 

The discussion highlighted the significant contributions that women make to the Ukrainian financial business life and the need for greater representation and recognition of their achievements. The panel provided an inspiring and informative platform for women to come together, share their stories, and build meaningful connections that will help advance their careers and the industry as a whole.

Despite constant concerns, power outages, and countless obstacles along the way, Ukrainian fintech has stood its ground. Moreover, many innovative solutions and products have been developed, and unique fintechs have emerged. War only creates new conditions, and the winner is the one who adapts to them the fastest, becomes even more flexible and innovative. It is precisely to recognize the successes of Ukrainian fintech that we are holding the Ukrainian Fintech Awards for the second year in a row.
